Background: Rock is someone I’ve had this on-and-off situationship with where things started really strong—he was super attentive, affectionate, talked about being exclusive, and we were seeing each other a lot. But then he became really inconsistent and distant. In person, he’s still very engaging—flirty, physical, makes me feel like he really wants me—but he avoids deeper conversations, doesn’t follow through, and pulls away when things get even a little real. I usually see him out at bars, and it’s like he reappears, acts interested again, and then disappears, which keeps me confused and kind of stuck in the cycle. There’s definitely chemistry, but there’s no stability or consistency, and I keep finding myself wondering what changed and wanting things to go back to how they were in the beginning. I ran into him last night but he looked different he looked skinny and pale from the last time I saw him. He acted so happy to see me like he wanted to come with me but suddenly was like nevermind. Also important to the story : as a child my mom used to tell me to avoid sewers because there were monsters in them so I wouldn’t play near them. Now the dream: I was with my mom by my childhood home by my parents house and we were outside by the same sewer she told me there were monsters in. But in the dream I was grown and she told me stay away from that sewer there is a man in there crying. I knew it was rock but I didn’t see him.
